The Bible in a picture

I thought I'd share this... I've recently been thinking about about visualizations, and wondered if you could understand the large scale of the bible in one view, a few years ago I saw some of Chris Harrison's visualisation (http://www.chrisharrison.net/index.php/Visualizations/BibleViz) but this is the first time I tried to build my own.

Family Space at Waitrose

 

If you shop at Waitrose you may be interested to know that Family Space, a joint venture between Cheltenham YMCA and four local churches in West Cheltenham, is one of the ‘good causes’ funded as a result of dropping the green tokens into the boxes.

Just seen this on BBC News - it's a map of Every death on every road in Great Britain 1999-2010.

It's strange how dots on a map are somehow more personal that the raw statistics, 36271 actually starts to mean something.
