Joshua 6 (1) - Sunday 29 April 2012

Introduction

Joshua at the Battle of Jericho  It’s a great story … and I’ve been looking forward to getting to Joshua 6 … this iconic scene … which has inspired songs, and countless Junior Church activities, … when I mentioned at the tea table this week that I was preaching on Joshua and Jericho the kids were all familiar with the story … recalling the golden trumpets that they had made in junior church … this is a story that captures our imagination …

He has Risen!! - Easter Sunday - 8 April 2012

Introduction

It's Sunday! Alleluia, Christ has risen!

And yet, have you noticed that the Biblical accounts of Easter all suggest that the disciples haven't got a clue what's going on!

Accepted

This is a video that I saw at NWA and thought was rather appropriate for Easter:

Since the fall at Eden, we've been trying to cover our sin. But can any covering we make ever be enough?

This video looks at how our sin is dealt with by God - at great cost, with a vision of glory and beauty. Watch this video for a reflection on how we see sin being dealt with in the Bible and how we try to deal with it in our own lives today.
